I worked in Marvel's Production Department for a short time (when I was a fetus) helping out Frank Giacoia. I was blowing up Gil Kane thumbnails for him. Frank was a nice guy. I asked him questions about the "Good Old Days" every minute of every day... and he was more than happy to chat about it. He told me that, in a lot of these TOWER jobs, he and Joe Giella would share an assignment with one inking the even pages and the other inking the odds.
