Description

Here we see Renee and Kate, pre-Batwoman, pre-Question, early in their relationship--"the honeymoon period"--as a couple is in the throes of puppy love. We see the two lovebirds having a quarrel about being OUT at work and finding their purpose in life. I love this page not only for the kiss but for Rucka giving us something so real that many of us who are gay and in relationships, have experienced at one time or another....I love the fact that Batwoman being a lesbian is so integral to her origin...Thanks Greg and Jim for the courage to write and illustrate such a beautiful and powerful origin story for this special character !!! Oh, and the best thing about this page is Kate's underwear--as a Legion Fan, I love that she is wearing Saturn Girl skivvies !!! Love it !!!
