Description

I based this concept for this drawing on Irwin Hasen's cover to All Star Comics issue 33 as published in 1947. That cover featured Solomon Grundy menacing several Justice Society members who were encased inside of a sphere. After Irwin finished his penciling for my drawing at the 2007 Heroes Con I asked Bob McLeod to ink it. This piece was published on page 30 of Roy Thomas' All Star Companion volume three (Jan 2008).
