Description

Regis Loisel's Peter Pan is for me, one of the greatest modern European comic book. Obviously, "La Quete du Temps" (Quest of Time) is also fantastic but I feel like Loisel's style is just perfect for Peter Pan's universe.

Reading the story again, I cannot help but being always amazed by the subtle variations along the storyline, the concept of a schizophrenic-like persona by splitting the main character into Peter and Pan, the human and animal side in all of us, then back into one shape as a fragile hero not sure of his destiny, confused and beautiful.

This original drawing is a full color rendition of Clochette or Tinkerbell. Such a delicate and fragile creature, still capable of almost anything but for a good reason, a (tainted?) love.

Framed and near by the hall so that I can get a glimpse of her almost every morning!
