Description

I had Kieth Pollard do this commission for me in 2010. This scene, originally drawn by John Romita, was supposed to be the cover for ASM #82.
This is a re-imagining of that cover.

The story is that the cover done by Romita was lost during production, so Marvel had another artist quickly draw up a new cover, which is the one that was ultimately used. Years later, Romita's cover was found, and was used as the cover for the 'Marvel tales' issue which featured the reprint of ASM #82.
