Description

Welcome to page number 8 in my collecting comic art on the cheap rant. The featured page is a splash page I bought directly from Paul Chadwick at the 2004 San Diego Comic Con. Most famous as the writer and artist of Concrete for Dark Horse comics. Mr. Chadwick has been in the comics business since 1984 when he worked on the "Dazzler" series, published by Marvel Comics. After that he took his own creation "Concrete", a story about the gentle giant Concrete, to Dark Horse where it debuted in Dark Horse Presents. "Concrete" has been the most successful comics anthology to date. On rare occasions, he still does some work for the "Big Boys" at Marvel and DC. The featured page is one of many I purchased directly from Mr Chadwick at the 2004 San Diego Comic con. I believe you can see it they caught my eye (and P.S.I only paid $40.00 bucks for it...ahahahahahahahahaha!!!) Besides being a fine comic book artist and writer, the most noticeable quality of his art is how much better it looks in black and white than in the final colorized version (click left)..
