Description

Seen here is the art for X-Men: The End issue 10 p11 (or Vol. 2 issue #4, depending on how you want to look at it).

I've always liked this page. There's a lot going on, as Emma and Rogue both start to hallucinate, and go into each others minds. The top panel has cool Chibi style versions of the characters. Interestingly, there are pencil marks indicating that Cecilia Reyes originally had clown makeup on. The bottom panel appears to be an homage to the classic picnic Rogue and Gambit shared in X-Men #8. The middle panel is my favorite though, as it shows Emma in her old school White Queen outfit. Tied to her throne by a leash and dog collar is Jean Grey. Emma even gave her a little Phoenix dog tag. I've always found it interesting that Emma would be thinking of that, since similar images are probably in male comic fan's minds most of the time. :- )
