COMMENT:
"I never worked with Joe Sinnott, but it was an honor to be asked to be part of this project. Joe Sinnott is certainly one of my main influences as an inker. He was an inspiration when I was growing up as I would admire his work over Kirby and Buscema. As an intern at Marvel in the 1980's, I would study Joe's inks when they came into the office. His work for Marvel's can be considered the "Marvel House Style". Bold and delicate at the same time. Clean, but expressive at the same time. Joe Sinnott was everything. I can still cite Sinnott as in influence on my work. While working on Y: The Last Man I would look at Joe's inking over John Buscema on Ms. Marvel, The Fantastic Four and Thor to inspire and educate me. It was fun to ink Joe's pencils, even if was over a photocopy. I hope I did justice to Joe's pencils and that he's happy with my work."
