Description

As I mentioned, Ray Bailey worked as an assistant to Caniff and his work is strongly inspired by him. Here is another nice Bailey splash featuring another typical plot... a young girl attracted to a handsome star. As often happened at Harvey, this story was reprinted. This is the later version, so many of the captions and word balloons were changed. Also notice that the singer HAD a mustache that has been whited-out through the story.

Another fine splash ruined by the code. Without seeing the original art, it's my guess that the clevage has been covered with blacks!

I have looked closely at the page... the only edits seem to be the male singer's mustache and sideburns. The dress is the same through the first two pages and does not seem altered. So no extra cleavage on this one.
