I can't believe I've never commented on this before! I feel like I've spent a lot of time looking at it... :)

This was SUCH a fun series, and the art was always a delightful mix of both artists - you can easily pick out the Dragotta and Allred on each page - and it was a real joy to see Mike ink another artist for a sweet little run of issues. Just like X-Factor/X-Statix, 'Dead Girl' didn't read like ANYTHING else that was out there, comprised of so many classic characters - Kraven, Mysterio, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Ant-Man, Gwen Stacy - and newer stuff (specifically the X-Statix crew and the usual Milligan comic book craziness) all folded together into a four-color burrito that was very filling and oddly... alive... in your tummy.

And your page here is obviously a labor of love by the two artists. I love 'establishing shots' of the good Doctor's Sanctum Sanctorum, where the artist that's drawing it basically has carte blanche to throw any and everything they can think of into the mix and there is so much visual texture on display here (between the fine lines and brushwork... and even including some Kirby Krackle!) that the results speak for themselves: magic.
