DescriptionThis piece reminds me of some of Gustav Klimt's patterned landscapes, where color turned the trees and negative spaces into flatter shapes. Mager picks up some depth in areas, by darkening the negative spaces here and there. The textures that he created are wonderful as well. August 1954.Social/Sharing |
