Amongst the most commonly recurring themes dealt with in the Poussy series, Poussy’s affection for milk is one of the most striking. The solidarity which was so dear to Peyo can be seen here and is a reminder, if one was indeed necessary, of the beauty of the values of this humanistic artist. Here, the illustrations are perfect, and the effectiveness of the gags is sublime.
