Description

A fantastic prelim executed in red conte crayon by Jeffrey Jones.
14" * 14" on heavy cream stock.
"Here we look into a window at a young girl who is looking out at a butterfly. In the final painting Jones would have the girl looking at the butterfly in the same room, from a corner, a variation of a motif he uses several other times... A lovely, contemplative study."
