Description

"Nancy" strip published on 10-24-51. This great strip shows Bushmiller's stylistic evolution towards iconic minimalism well underway, but not quite there yet. The panels, however, are quite a bit less cluttered than examples from the 40s, and the compositions are balanced to perfection. He still has a way to go, but all the awkwardness and fussiness of his youthful style is completely gone.
