Description

Back in 92' at a Boston show Moebius was the featured guest..he made the rounds of the various tables and stopped at mine..picked up a Catwoman drawing and asked "how much"..after giving him the drawing..he then went to his own table and started to draw for the crowd..I got in line and he drew this beauty in his Marvel artbook.It was a gas seeing him create the drawing..it's as if he's tracing a drawing that isn't there..just amazing!

I just love the way how you describe Moebius draws "as if he was tracing".At one point i nearly stop drawing(silly of me).I wasn't any good and in many ways disinterested in comics. One day i trip upon Moebius's work and i don't know how to explain it to you...but the bug bite me BIG TIME!.Those who have discover Moebius knows what i'm talking about.I love this drawing but more importantly Moebius is an inspiration to me.Thanks for sharing.P.S.the story how you got the drawing is wonderful(if Moebius came up to me and said how much is your Catwoman drawing cost?.I probably...cry,lol)

God, he is so fantastic. . . have you ever read the Jodorowsky story he illustrated called "Les Yeux Du Chat?" It's printed on yellow paper in black ink. It's definitely worth reading!
