DescriptionI provided Seth with a long list of potential commission themes, and he was intrigued by the idea of orchestrating an autumnal-themed mash-up of DD vs. one of Batman's most sinisterly-ghoulish rogues, The Scarecrow. Needless to say, I, too, was excited about the prospect, and it appears as though I had good reason to be. Seth really delivered on his promise to create a haunting confrontation between these two adversaries, and I think that his masterful use of inkwash is on full display in this eery composition. It's not too often that ol' hornhead goes up against a foe that can induce him with crippling fear (with the exception of Mr. Fear, of course), so the suspense as to whom would get the upperhand in this face-off is palpable. Amazing work, Seth!Social/Sharing |

Well, it's nice to get DD out of the city.I agree, it's cool to see him transplanted into a Mignola scene

This is pretty awesome. I love the angle. I love the graveyard. And I love the creases in DD's costume. My hat's off to Mr. Frail on this one.

Wow Matthew, and I mean WOW !!!!
What a fitting DD villain Scarecrow would make, he fills the void that is left from both the Death Stalker and Mr. Fear. Love the dynamics of the creepy illustration setup by Seth Frail, with the dilapidated cemetary taking center stage, as Scarecrow taunts Daredevil to attack !!!! BRILLIANT !!!!!
