Batsman by Derec Donovan and Simon Gough

When thinking about who all I wanted to draw Batsman I first thought of all of my go-to commission artists, and Derec is at the top of that list, because he drew me my very first commission. He also has never produced a bad drawing, at least that I've seen. So anyway I sent him over my Batsman reference and let him have at it. And of course he produced a brilliant piece! I love the energy effects he added to the bats leaving Batsman's body, as I never would have thought of that. And also he out some lettering on it, and that's always a plus. Hey DC, put Derec on a Batman book already, and have Batsman make a guest appearance! Anyway, big thanks again to Derec for always sending me these stellar commissions!

Oh yeah, if it's Batsman, or Karate Kid fighting someone, then it's most likely mine.

Terrific pose! I know I have seen Batsman in the few Superman/Batman issues he has been in, but I had forgotten how cool he looks. I need to re-read those issues!
