Description

So, after buying all those darn sketch cards, finally a real piece of Indiana Jones comic art, by one of my favorite artists, Howard Chaykin. And unlike my James Bond page, with a collaborator worthy of the job, Terry Austin.

This is a really nice action sequence from "The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones" from Marvel Comics.

The credits say that Chaykin did the "layouts" and Austin the "finishes". Chaykin has said that some of the work he did for Marvel around this time (specifically that FYEO material) was done very quickly, so that may be the case here, just that Austin was better equipped to fill in the details.

Regardless, a great page.
