DescriptionOriginally, I had a game plan to get a sketch card from Cat since she does really amazing sketch cards but after looking at her portfolios, I found this really cool and intense pencil sketch of the Huntress, so I had to make changes to the plans :) I bought this from her at Big Wow! Comic Fest 2012!** Update: Thanks to Holly for pointing out that this sketch is probably a prelim of what ended up to be the cover for Cat's sketchbook, Developments. I never put it together even though it was at her table when I bought this. I added a picture of the sketchbook to this artwork post too :) Thanks again, Holly! Social/Sharing |

I've admired Cat years ago when I was only familiar with her sketch cards. That admiration has grown since then, her talent it just so unbelievable. Especially her pencils and this is no exception. Very stunning!.. and the intensity of her stare just leaps off the page! I also believe that it's the prelim or 'pencils' to the cover of her 2011 sketchbook. http://www.catstaggs.com/2011/06/30/2011-sketchbook-is-up-for-pre-order/.

I should order it online now :) But yeah I really loved what she had in her portfolios. I wish I had more $ but this was a no brainer the second I saw it. I enjoyed browsing your collection. I follow Gene Gonzales and the one you have has been on of my favorites! Congrats on what you have :)
