Description

Title page to the story, "The Platoon That Wouldn't Die". Written by Arnold Drake and both pencilled and inked by the amazing Gerry Talaoc. My favorite work of Talaoc's is usually on any Unknown Soldier story, since I love the way he "draws the bandages". If you have read one of those stories, you will know what I'm talking about. This page stopped me in my tracks several years ago at San Diego Comicon, with all of the action and realistic positioning of the soldiers. Sweet....
