Description

This was my only pre-show commission that I set up for the 2012 Heroes con in Charlotte, NC. I was a big fan of the Red Wing mini-series and love where the writer/artist team that is Hickman and Pitarra are going. I love Pitarra's abundance of detail and humor and could not be happier with his take on Weapon X. If I remember correctly Nick said this was the only piece he didn't use a brush on so he could get the tightness he wanted.

Nick was a pleasure to talk with and was a super nice guy! Many thanks to Nick for putting this together.

Super excited to say I was able to get Megan to add her wonderful colors to this piece. I found her work on facebook and loved her color work on several pieces by Nick. Thanks Megan!

Something about this took me back to Highlights magazine when I was kid where they had the picture and a list of items you had to spot in the picture. Perhaps... 1. Headphones 2. Ipod 3. Backpack ....
