Description

Colored pencil sketch on the front page of the first True Story Swear to God collection by Tom Beland.

My wife and I both liked Tom's book because not only was it a great love story, but the idea of love overcoming great geographic separation echoed part of our own story. Anyway, we decided we wanted to give out the first collection as gifts to our wedding party, so I contacted Tom to see if I could buy autographed copies directly from him. He said sure and even offered to include "a little sketch" inside. He contacted me a few days later saying "Yeah, I decided to kick things up a notch." Understatement. Of. The. Year. This, of course, is the copy he sent to us.
