Description

In Aug 2011 my husband got a weekend pass to Fan Expo in Toronto. He had some of the artists attending the convention do some sketches on the blank variant comic book for me.

He finished the front cover first and kept with a Fantastic 4 theme. This is the story my husband told me about why Batman/ Robin/ Joker are on the back.

"When I got to the back cover I kept the Fantastic 4 theme by getting Doom, Hulk and She-Hulk next. I walked by Bob McLeod's booth and it seemed like he was in between commissions and available. I asked him how much for a head shot... he said $20 and asked what I wanted. I said draw whatever you want.... lol, kinda thought he'd stay in the Marvel but he went straight for Batman. Wow did he ever nail it out of the park. So I thought I might as well get Batman some company. Gave me a chance to hit up Cameron Stewart an amazing Batman and Robin artist and a new comer Jeff Lemire [Sweet Tooth, Jonah Hex & Animal Man artist]."
