DescriptionAfter reading DC titles exclusively as a kid for several years, I just started discovering the world of Marvel in 1984, and the Black Abbott storyline unfolding in later issues of Marvel Team-Up that year was among the first stories from the House of Ideas I followed (this page is from the Spidey/Human Torch chapter of that arc). I've always been a fan of team-up comics, and I was drawn to MTU as a result.I picked this up at a bargain price on eBay a few years back. I've always thought Greg LaRoque's work on MTU was among the best of his career, even though he's better known for his art on The Flash v.2. The lighter tone he exhibits here reminds me of Sal Buscema's work, and it was a perfect fit for the fun of MTU. This is Page 10 of the story, but Page 14 of the comic (including ads and such).
