DescriptionI regret selling my last Tuska piece so I am very happy to pick up this cool Avengers jam on the bay. I'm always happy to own a jam that someone else did the legwork for.George Tuska penciled the entire roster and only inked Iron Man. The following artists inked the other characters: Thor - Jerry Ordway Beast - Rich Buckler Yellow Jacket - Bob Layton Captain America - Alan Weiss Scarlett Witch - Kevin Nowlan Vision - Bob Almond Hawkeye - Mike Zeck Social/Sharing |

This is exquisite.... Probably the same team I'd choose if I had eight Avengers to pick from. (Mantis, Wonder Man, and the Black Panther would be my alternates...! Well, and Tuska drew a lovely Jan Van Dyne back in the day....) Cap might boast the standout inks of the bunch. Love the Beast pose, too.

Glad you liek it Larry. I found this older info from when I was commssioning the piece i thought you'd find interesting. When I commissioned this from George, I then decided to have an inkers jam, though didn't know this is what it was called. I lined up all the artists and provided their choice of character to ink if available, then mailed it on its way with the forwarding address and mail lable to the next artist in line who was available. When it left me, I never had this piece back in my hands until the last inker was done with their part. Here is a timeline I kept of when the art arrived at and moved onto the next artist in line...
