After reading Y: The Last Man by Brian K. Vaughan I was really set on finding one page in particular that to me really represented the sentiment that I felt between Agent 355 and Yorick. In my heart as I was reading the series I felt that in the end they would get together. Looking through the art in the entire series there was only one page that really spoke this sentiment to me. It was page 11 from Issue 15 where Agent 355 is embracing Yorick after everything that has happened during the Israeli attack and his kidnapping.

The search began for that page. I didn't know exactly where to start so I checked the CAF listings for YTLM art and didn't find the page. That meant there was still hope it was out in the wild. I then found that Pia Guerra had been selling art online for a while so I went through the pages she had sold and also came up empty handed. Since I was following Jose Marzan Jr. (the inker of YTLM) I saw he was listing some pages for sale on his website. I ended up buying page 19 from Issue 13 from him and also asked if he by chance had this page as well. I didn't hear back for about a week and when I did it was bad news. He didn't have the page. Starting to run out of options I contacted Paolo Belfiore at Cadence Comic Art who is now representing Pia. He said he didn't have the page but that he would see if Pia by chance still had it. A month went by and I didn't hear anything. I then received an email from Paolo saying that he had just posted about a dozen new pages from YTLM and that the page I wanted was not in the shipment. A little discouraged I went ahead and checked the pages that had been listed. As I was looking through the pages I couldn't believe what I saw. The page I was looking for was indeed there. I quickly emailed Paolo telling him the page was there and that I would love to buy it. Within minutes I had purchased the page and I was on cloud nine. All can figure is that Paolo must have thought I was looking for page 15 from Issue 11 which could easily have happened because of the way I requested the page (Page # and then Issue #). Paolo was great. He went above and beyond. He wouldn't have had to ask Pia if she had the page but I am really glad he did. I never figured I would be able to find this page so quickly. I figured such a great page would have been sold and locked away in someone collection a long time ago.

To me this is the best page in the entire book. It exactly represents the sentiment that I felt about Agent 355 and Yorick. The page has in my mind the 3 leading characters (355, Yorick and Ampersand). In the first panel you have Yorick in the infirmary with Ampersand. The second panel is of course why I really wanted this page. The warm embrace between Agent 355 and Yorick. The rest of the panels have 355 and Yorick talking about the space cadets and Israeli soldiers.

I am thrilled to have this page. I can honestly say that this will probably be the last YTLM page that I will get since it would be so hard to top this one. Such a great page that I am extremely proud to have in my collection.

I think the same thing, this page is very representative of what would end going. Congratulations for this great page, i love it!
