Beta Ray Bill by Walter Simonson

This is a sketch card that I received when I renewed my membership in the Hero Initiative. If you aren't already a member you should click on the link and go join. From their website: "The Hero Initiative creates a financial safety net for comic creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work. Since inception, the Hero Initiative has been fortunate enough to benefit over 40 creators and their families with over $400,000 worth of much-needed aid, fueled by your contributions! It's a chance for all of us to give back something to the people who have given us so much enjoyment."

I'm a huge Walter Simonson fan and Beta Ray Bill is one of my favorite characters, so of course I had to get Walt to draw Bill for me when I became an Excelsior-level member of the Hero Initiative this year. And Walt did not disappoint! I love this portrait of Bill and will be showing it off to others often. Thanks, Walt!
