When I described to Mike what I was Hoping for, he expressed some uncertainty... He told me he hadn't done anything in finished pencils for a number of years. his practice is to put down a rough sketch onpaper, providing just enough to finish the drawing in ink. Still, he was willing to have a go at it, but asked if an inked drawing would be acceptible if he felt the pencils weren't working out to his liking. He need not have worried, the beautiful result speaks for itself!
