Talented artist who started in Chicago writing and sketching for Chicago newspaprs including a stint covering and riding with Pancho Villa (that resutled in a boo kthe little Tigress) Friend of Ben Hecht he got busted for his occult and erotic illsutrations for Fantazius Mallare especially the famous tree fuck piece that i nthe 1960's wasreproduced as a black light poster - mioved to Hollywood about the same time as Hecht- did work on screen plays as aell as art and articles -incredible character and great artist - espciall yfor thsoe of us who grew up i nChciago and know a bit about its history
