Ramón BOLDÚ
Ramón Boldú es, a su pesar, uno de esos autores “delicatessen” que tras su indiscutible calidad permanece en un discreto segundo o tercer plano dentro del panorama del cómic español. La originalidad de sus obras gráficas ha sido ignorada por el gran público, pero es indudable que se trata del mejor exponente en su país del género autobiográfico, del que además fue pionero. Si quieres conocer la parte de la Transición Española que no aparece en ningún libro de historia, te recomiendo leer el genial “Bohemio pero Abstemio”, publicado por la “La Cúpula” en 1994 y reeditado en 2010 por Astiberri. Este bonito dibujo me lo dedicó personalmente Boldú en el Salón del Cómic de Barcelona en mayo de 1995. Ramón Boldú is, to his dismay, one of those authors "delicatessen" which despite its unquestionable quality remains in a quiet second or third place in the panorama of Spanish comics. The quality and originality of his graphic works have been ignored by the public, but certainly Boldú is the spanish best example in the autobiographical genre, which also he pioneered. If you want to know things about the Spanish Transition that don´t appears in any history book, I recommend you read the great "Bohemio pero Abstemio” (Bohemian but abstemious) published by La Cúpula in 1994 and reissued in 2010 by Astiberri. Boldú drawing me this beautiful dedication in the Salón del Cómic de Barcelona in May 1995.
