Complete 52-page adaption of Alexandre Dumas' "Twenty Years After", Classics Illustrated No. 41 (Gilberton, Sept 1947). A sequel to "The Three Musketeers". Reduced to 46 pages in later editions. Each page is drawn on illustration board making the whole story a 3" high pile. Robert C Burns studied at Yale. The comic adaptation of "Twenty Years After" was his only work for Gilberton. He was known for his portraits and was in fact the first place winner of the national Life magazine "Our men in the service artist award" in the 1940s, during World War II. He was a professor of drawing and painting at Trenton State College in the 1970s.
