MY COLLECTION - Argentinian comics
When Marvel comics translations disappeared from newsstands in the early '80s I had to find something else to read. At that time a neighbour of mine was already recycling paper and stashed huge piles of "Skorpio" and "Lanciostory" anthology comics in the paper bin. When I found out, I started taking them home and immersed myself in these adventure stories featuring immortals, a noble Venetian turned into a slave, a Sicilian Untouchable, an unwilling Sumerian king, a comedic mafia family, a crazy journalist, the early Foreign Legion, a young "wetback" boxeur and a future where snow kills and the aliens conquer the Earth and so on and I fell in love with'em.
I'm still re-reading Gilgamesh, Dago, Savarese, Nippur, Spaghetti Bros., Loco Chavez, Qui La Legione, Mojado, L'Eternauta and more to these days, and looking for art from'em. This is a more detailed list of what I'm interested in:
