Mr. Majestic
The first six issues of this 9 issue series written by Joe Casey and Brian Holguin were drawn by Ed McGuinness and are filled with tales that manage to capture the spirit and imagination of silver-age superhero stories while still maintinaing a modern feel.
Issue 1 is a great Superman tale told through this Superman analogue, but it's issue 3 that I remember most fondly for its humorous tale of Majestic going to dinner and the movies. I find stories of superheroes in their everyday lives often end up as favorites.
