Finding Out magazine was first published in 1962, as direct competitor to Look & Learn. As with that publication, Finding Out was an educational magazine for children, published in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. It ran from 1962-1967, and was then merged with Look & Learn. This folder is dedicated to the work of Ronald 'Ron' Embleton 1930-1988. One of the UK's greatest ever illustrators. Renowned worldwide for his authentic and realistic military history illustrations, particularly of Roman Britain. Ron's career encompassed literally hundreds of contributions to countless publications over the decades. Sadly he passed away in 1988, but his wonderful work lives on.
