Bessie Pease Gutmann (1876 – 1960) was a US illustrator, noted for her drawings and paintings of infants, and young children. Her artwork appeared in a large number of magazines and books and also included advertisement pieces. Between 1906 and 1920 her art featured on 22 magazine covers including Woman's Home Companion and McCall's. One of her better known sets of illustrations was for a 1907 edition of 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' published by Dodge, followed by a 1909 edition of 'Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There'.
