PICHARD Georges
This man was a Master and a gentleman. If I dislike a part of his work (the really so hard pornographic one) I can't hide my admiration for a man of true heart for the medium and for the way he got involved in it until the end. During some years he gave "bandes dessinées" teaching courses. David B (Epileptic) is known to be one among his students. He wanted to offer some "lettres de noblesse" to the pornography. He was also the humor artist for "Le rire" or the heroic character (and by the way one of the few french super heroes) SUBMERMAN. His most famous creations were Blanche EPIPHANIE (story : Jacques LOB) and "Paulette" (story : Georges WOLINSKI). He died at 83 in 2003. We miss him.
