Michael Maikowsky is a renowned artist and an incredible talent when it comes to owning a recreation of great Golden Age & Silver Age art. He’s long been the “go to guy”. His recreations of iconic covers and splash pages from legends like, John Buscema, John Romita Sr., Jack Kirby, Wally Wood, Frank Frazetta and others, is a sight to behold. His ability to control a brush whilst mirroring the original source of reference is uncanny. Those of us unable to purchase the originals that sell for ten’s and hundreds of thousands of dollars, can now own their favorite piece, as embellished by Mike.
Each work is drawn on European DIN A3 standard format that is 29,7cm x 42 cm, which in inch equals 11.7" x 16.54". The American 11 x 17 format is simply not available in Germany.
