Very effective imagery that marketed the game and the console that captured the imagination of a generation of gamers. Considering the age of the late 90's, this is nostalgic and rare gaming art.  Its a great piece of the era sure. RE2 on N64 was my first intro to the franchise. I'm sad there aren't many paintings of RE to be had, but I'm thankful for the two I do have. |

Fegredo's line looks wild and improvised, but the covers like this are very well designed with so many details that are surprising. I agree! It's very free and cubist in a way. He included a set of a large number of prelims and from the notes that appear on them, it took quite a few attempts at getting the composition of the cover right. He mentions that, rate and a half or not, he was sick of Twisted Metal, haha. |
