Jack Kirby's art was so stylized but for me is incomparable. This is yet another great example of a master artist.

I am revisiting Byrne's wonderful run on X-Men; such a special read that brings me back to my earliest memories of comics. For me this era is the definitive X-Men period; the art and stories were and continue to be magical. It must be a treat to own such a great piece of comic art history.

This is a grail by anybody's measure. Absolutely stunning page from a time when Fantastic Four were the preeminent team in comics; Byrne was right at the top of his game.

A cover quality Ed Benes commission; that's my idea of a grail. He is well known for female characters and for good reason but this demonstrates his all round versatility. Such great detail on Batman and the gargoyle; this is in my top five of your collection and that's saying something. Hearty congrats.

I came late to John Byrne's Cap; was persuaded to pick up the TPB in my LCS a few years back. What a read though and stunning art. To see such a great commission so many years after his run ended is a testament to the artist's skill. You can feel movement from the characters.

Just love this. John Byrne's take on Fourth World is but a half a step after the King and that makes his the best around. With so many interesting characters I hope we see more like this. I like that we see Byrne created character Sleez; I like the little guy.
