A very nice color recreation of Giant Sized X-Men #1 almost as good as Gil Kane and Dave Cockrum. The colors are beautifully done.

Great Artwork and what's often overlooked... Great Dialogue! End pages are awesome!!! Original Art seems more complete with the word balloon dialogue and this is a masterpiece. I look forward to seeing you on the West Coast convention circuit in 2009. Happy New Year Felix!

This is Keith Giffen at his best as far as style goes. The inker, Bruce Patterson is probably my favorite tandem to Giffen, but Larry M did great work with Giffen too. A true page to envy! It's always nice to see a great page in the hands of a great fan and collector 'tho, so congrats on ownership!

Bob Layton commissions are the best value ever! True hard work and detailing in the figures and backgrounds that redefines the term "cover quality" to the highest of levels. It's not comparable to a published cover, it's of equal or greater quality! Your piece is ASTONISHING and UNCANNY !!!

Bob Layton is indeed awsome, and I've dealt with him throughout the years, not only is he a professional talent that's at the top of his game, but he's also a really nice person too. I've built a collection of "reimagined" tribute covers by Bob Layton myself. Your piece is MAGNIFICENT! This is a great concept cover!

Jess - - Thanks for the information, I checked out the J. Scott Campbell's Danger Girl Sketchbook and saw these sketches on Page 56 under "12" figures (Abbey on the top left side and Natalia on the top right side) and I think the Sydney sketch was featured either on the bottom right side, or on Page 54 under "Color Gallery" on the upper left side. I now need to find the 12" action figures to see if the artwork made the packaging :) - - Thanks for your help!!!

You're right... I was at Wonder Con and never even got a chance to see this...
