Perhaps with so many umbrellas depicted on the water above as the beacons, Death is looking at multiple victims of a boating accident or shipwreck. I like how it is left to the interpretation of the viewer though, generally speaking. Another nice piece from the artist in the set of 3, with this one being the most ambigiuous to some degree.

Excellent cover!!!! Huge congrats on this Miki. I'm the furthest thing from a Legion guy, but from your description alone it's obvious how key/important this run in the title was, and how much this addition means to you. 

The calm before the (final) storm! the part of the rpg where you get your final party ready and make one last save game file incase you need it later should you fall to the boss on the first try.

another great page! to me that bottom panel (in isolation or in context) may be the strongest image I can recall in a war comic I've seen in quite some time. excellent (and horrifying).

Love this cover! as a huge fan of USM myself (a series I have re-read 3 times now since it has came out) I always enjoy seeing any originals from this whether it be inked interior pages or the pure penciled covers. This is a fantastic one to have both Spidey and Black Cat full figured with great poses. congrats!

As much as he may be procrastinating sometimes changing things up (location, activity, what have you...) does clear the mind to be able to focus. Beauty! digging the lighter blue and white highlights in this sultry + sly (slytry? sulsly? ha) version of Dream Girl that stays true to older source material. Nice one! Curious how you organize/store/display your sketch card collection with how many you have. Sleeves and Toploaders, or sleeves and binders? Or something else? I need a new solution of my own, so curious to hear how other collectors prefer to store/enjoy theirs. 

Pretty cool painted study of the character as a precursor to both full commissions! To get a totally different type of art piece/style for a bonus gift along with the commissions themselves is top notch customer service as well. Good to see. 

"80s Action Hero Duke" sounds like a B or even C movie level franchise name, or perhaps a brand new retro inspired action figure line! Either way, Tom Reilly brings the great action and storytelling from panel to panel here, capped off by that excellent chopper reflection and subsequent explosion shot. Very cool!

WOW Bill, The Defenders #2 cover!!!?? Most excellent, and huge congrats! this cover image is burned into my brain from seeing so many copies of the book over the years at shows and elsewhere. Interesting about how they edited it (and thanks for sharing the seperate overlay version to compare) for publication. Great addition. Really love this!!

Nice title page! I love the lettering, especially on The Challengers of the Unknown logo in the top panel.

Really enjoyed the innovative panel/page design and imagery throughout the 8 pages. The only word bubbles in the entire story being "Diana" and "Mom" really brought a lot more importance to those scenes/lines with emotional weight. Over it's a nice self contained Wonder Woman story from a modern book with a unique art style. A cool way of expanding collecting horizons!

congrats on adding the story! Right away the artwork draws you in and as you mentioned is fairly self explanatory as to what's going on and easy to follow.

Very cute and colorful indeed to the strength of Rian's unique artistic approach and style! The chibi Storm vs Cyclops battle just takes this piece up a notch as far as fun factor. 

Sleep deprivation is one of the worst forms of torture, but I suppose great war strategy to wear down your enemies. I love that panel of "Oscar" the submarine surfacing and rearing it's head above the sea surface to fire shells.

The lines are blurred making the question of who the bigger monster is in this situation hit the core of the Frankenstein mythos. Nice Frankie page!
