As soon as the airfield is operational danger appears! Those margin notes are very interesting to look at in the full scan, thanks for pointing it out otherwise I may not have taken the time to look more closely at it.

A nice remarque by Kitson and I really like how he "blends" the image into the established Batman image on the sketchbook cover. I have several remarque type examples in my own collection done on published books, I quite enjoy that as an affordable way to add an example (or in some cases, to add another example) from an artist that's tougher to get published work from.

Sweet title splash! I always enjoy seeing stuff from ice based planets in sci-fi stories. Hell this comic must have been coming out around the same time Empire Strikes Back was out in theaters giving everyone those classic moments on Hoth!

AS horrific as actual war is (for both sides involved in it) I do find it interesting to hear about how different sides approached their strategy especially when seemingly the decision one side made makes no sense to the other (and perhaps vice versa). Another great war history lesson and nice Glanzman page!

I'm with you on the stark contrast and use of negative space, simple but extremely effective and cool effect in the final illustration. Nice find!

Nice piece and a touching tribute to Lil Peep. His death was pretty shocking at the time as he definately had a lot more art to offer up to the world in his future before he sadly passed that young of age.
