The page layout does truly make this page speak to a reader.  Planetary made refernce to do many great heroes from the early 1900s, it was a treat to see them.  One of my favorite stores and time to reread the series again. What a wonderful addition to your collection.

KaJO needs to get a Batman series.  This is mind boggling to view.  It is a treat examining each piece.  The top right Batman...wow.  The centerpiece Batman is incredible and captures Batman perfectly.

The face of Firestorm is what really captivates me.  The perspective is spot on as is the foreshortening .  Beautiful!  Great pickup!

This hearkens back to the 50's and 60's work on Ayers on Ghost Rider. The exaggerated length of Banshee creates the mystical aura of Ghost Rider. 

This Fall and Winter series exhibited Petersen's best inking technique.  He really shows it in the owl feathers as well as his sense of design.

F'ing amazing page in black and white. Perkins further deepens my appreciation for the first generaton of Bat-man.  This is an incredible page.  

This Bat-man First Knight needs to be published in black and white to provide the atmospheric feel of what Bat-Man should be.  

The only other artist that came close to this feel is Enrique Alcatena, the Batman of Arkham.

Hawkman and Hawkgirl are one of my favorite characters.  This page was such a tour de force by Eaglesham.  I was truly envious of you and this purchase.  Eaglesham should carry more respect in the industry.  He is such a phenomenal penciler.  Congrats!

BWS is an incredible artist.  Dan Adkins an incredible student of the great Wally Wood.  The last panel shows the influence of Wally Wood and allows one to imagine what could have been.  The but, Adkins style isn't as expressive as Marie Severin when I examine the top 2/3 of the page.  No slight on Dan Adkins, just an observation, on a stellar page.

I don't know how long it takes Perkins to do some of these pages. I look at the foilage and all of the hatching and line work ad my mind spins at the labor.

The colors on the Magik commision are stunning.  The variations in the green are enhanced by the browns of the wings and legs.

Great composition of Batgril set off by the traditional colors of the character.  The moon illuminates her so well.  The flood of the bats at the bottom are an awesome touch.  Congrats on getting such a beautiful commision.

What a great use of negative space to complete the look of Stargirl.  Who needs color when you have a black and white portrait this stunning.

Don Newton's sorry run truly brought the character back to the forefront.  His progression as an artist from RBCC to Charlton to DC was incredible.

The stylized hatching on Doom's mask is stunningly well done. 

The willlowing of the clouds and the beginning of deaths head are absolutely stunning.  Great art. 

The clouds in the background are a true masterpiece of brush work offsettong the gruesome field of death. 

It is fantastic that Jared will drop in characters in his scenic paintings.  This is so well done. 

Nice page from a well written title.  I like how Sherman can make his styles work on both Batman and Wonder Woman.   Batman is done well in this splash page along with the pop up panels.

It does look like Chaplin.  The broad linework makes this standout.  The hair and eyebrows continuous swirls lead to clean lines of the face.  Beautiful.

Brunner had the magic in him during the Doctor Strange years. The linear images draws you in with Strange Ss the center of the image. The graphics are incredible. 

Alex Raymond truly is a master.  The backgrounds are such a good touch when Vincent the scene.  Pagan and Rip remain the focus but are further lifted by the background.  What a stunning strip. 

The use of red pencil makes this feel like a piece of art from an illustrated novel.  Mark makes this look like Red Sonja is walking of the page.

It feels like you are watching a movie when you look at this illustration.  The red effect on Death's ride elevates this art to another level.  Congrats on picking this up.  StUnNiNg!
