LOVE this book!  Davis always looks good but Neary's juicy, lush inks take his artwork to the next level--and this story is such a great example of their partnership.  I so regret not picking up a page when they were floating around out there.  Congrats on a fantastic pick-up!

This is awesome.  I don't always love recreations (which are sometimes so exact that they just feel like a photocopy), but doing it in full color like this makes it so much more than a recreation.  Vibrant and dynamic, and all Ploog.  Great piece!

Never knew that Bloodstone and Ol' Shellhead crossed paths--fun page, love that greywash look of the old Marvel mags.  

Excellent page, so dramatic and moody--all that black ink on the page is so evocative, and not something I really associate with Sal B's Hulk art.  Awesome pick-up!

Wow--there are several Nowlan Batgirl pieces out there but this one is particularly gorgeous.  Beautiful inkwork, and the pose is unique.  Something about those big boots really gets me!

Wow that is a stunning image--JRJR's iconic take on Spidey as well as a character we don't see a lot of from him in Gwen.  And you're so right about the rain--it's the splashes that are his unique touch.  Excellent inking by Hanna too.  Congrats!

Excellent page!  I just reread this series recently and it was so much fun--excellent adaptations by Chaykin and Mignola and of course awesome Mignola art.  This is a great example--I'm jealous, hoping to find a page of my own!

Very nostalgic book, from a time when it was still very unusual and special to see Wolverine outside of the X-Men.  Great story too--it could have just been a slugfest but Owlsley/Christopher Priest went for a darker, more complex take that made an impact on both characters.  And great art by an underrated artist-- such strong storytelling and characterization, RIP Mark Bright.  Awesome page, congrats!

This is awesome on every level--you get a very Nowlan-esque Hulk, Kirby vibes from the Thing, incredible lettering (the sound effect is so fun) and so precise inking and background imagery.  Love it!

Never was that into baseball so while I recognize the baseball strips as classic they usually aren't my favorite Peanuts strips--but this is a great example!  Great gag, and so cute the way Lucy and the other girl (the little red-haired girl?) talk in unison.  And great vintage for Schulz art--his linework in the 60s is my favorite: his mature style with more weight to the line than he would move towards in later years.  Congrats--and still want to hear more about the odyssey home!  

Such a well-designed and striking piece--minimal but also dense with detail, and gorgeous inks.  And the signature!  I love that it's signed "The Romitas"--true comic book royalty represented on the page.  Congrats on achieving a true grail.

Wow!  Not many collectors can say they own a page from the first issue of any of the key Silver Age Marvel series.  This is an excellent example--the three panels at the top are a classic Kirby getting-into-character sequence; and the composition of the panels at the bottom are very reminiscent of his war comics work and would be at home in the pages of Sgt. Fury.  P.S. the edge in the inks has always looked like Reinman to me.

Wow this is awesome and so interesting!  Definitely seems influenced by the black and white Doctor Strange portfolio by Michael Golden--particularly in the use of shadow and all that black ink!

Interesting to see this scene done by Buscema and Janson--didn't remember this reference to the UXM story in Wolverine's solo strip in MCP.  Nice pick up!

I think this is one of the most beautifully illustrated issues in Buscema's run, and this page is a great example of why--so much expressiveness all over the page, particularly in those multiple head shots of the Vision.  Also--love Klein's inks on Big John!
