Awesome page, congrats!

This is so darn cool, love the recasting.  I'd pay good money to see that Joker star in that Joker story.  But which Batman...

I love the group of race dailies but this one is probably my favorite of the 4.  Very cool sequence but this one really stands out to me.    

Ross's pencil prelims are awesome.  Love this take on the classic quick change.    

Awesome web swinging scene!  Love everything about this one, especially the killer background in the large panel.  So good. 

Loved the Yost/Kyle & Remender era of X-Force, probably one of my favorite stretches of any title.  This is a great image of the team, really digging the colors.  And that Wolverine is bad ass!

That's really cool.  I imagine the view of that hand from the ground being very much like Independence Day, when the ships first started showing up and blocking the sun.      

That's so awesome that they were able to eventually recover it, very happy for you.  You NEVER hear about an outcome like this.

Definitely worth a read.  Full disclosure though, despite the title and this issue, it's not a series about sharks.  The mastodon storyline was short but had some brilliant ocean scenes & action.

Love this one!  Always a big fan where the Surfer is coming right at you.

Powerful page.  I agree, that contrast of the happy scene above with some of the lowest of lows from Peter's past is quite moving. Also really like that the flashbacks aren't faded or toned down, like they are in the color/published page.  I get the use of that device but it seems more impactful to me without it.  Probably cause it draws you right into Spidey & Gwen and then back to that tragic storyline.  

Wow.  If not the greatest comic ever written, Watchmen is certainly towards the top of the list.  To nab any page would be fortunate but a cover is totally bananas.  Congrats!

"Behind the curtain" scenes like this are so fun.  Kinda like the bar with no name was, way back.

Whether it's targeted or something you just stumble across, it's really cool when it takes you back to "that time" in your head.  Congrats on being able to catch & ride that nostalgia wave with such a cool piece.

The wall climbing still cracks me up, perhaps my favorite gimmick from the Adam West series.  Ross's pencil prelims are the best though, so good.

This is stunning!  That dragon is soooo good, like Larry Elmore good.  Colors are amazing.  Mystique looks great.  Just awesome all around.

This is such a cool piece!  I too love the half & half Spidey sense face.  But I don't really recall seeing full body half & half all that much, so it really makes this one distinct and memorable.  That Doc Ock reflection  is sweet too.  Whole thing reminds me of ASM #55, with the POV reversed.

Thanks!  Had to look up 'jingoism' but I am glad to say that we are in agreement.  I can see the pensive & contemplative take in this piece as well.  But I also see a little defiance & "not on my watch" when I look at it.

Honestly, when I saw it on the shelves way back when, it immediately reminded me of the pep talk Cap gave to Spider-Man in ASM #537.  That was a great JMS/Garney page if ever there was one and this image always personified that dialogue in my eyes.

That is so awesome.  I love the over sized guns of the 90s, it's nearly as tall at the fraggin' cycle!  Can't imagine what shooting such a thing in space would do to Lobo's trajectory... but it totally looks bad ass!    

Very nice scene, love the point of view as well as the surroundings.  Hopefully his gun is loaded this time, looks like he may need it!

What an epic fight scene!

Love Russell's Elric.  Great moment in the story too, with Elric having to return to his old ways once more.  Very cool page.             

Always thought Deathstroke was one of the coolest looking DC characters, so bad ass.  Awesome job by Zeck here, digging this one.  Congrats!

At first I got really distracted by the idea of Vader running...  Sprinting never struck me as a tool that could be in his bag, at least based on movies.  But this "leading the charge" Vader is beyond bad ass looking.  I would NOT want to be among the rebels seeing that on the horizon!  The entire scene is ablosutely amazing.  Congrats!

What a classic DD scene.  Really enjoyed Kevin Smith's work on the character and always thought Quesada really nailed it on this one.  I didnt know they made a statue of it too though, that's pretty awesome,  Congrats!
