Joe putting a cap drawing inside a crime book is about as Joe you can get! I loved everything he put around it. "We're coming for the bad guys" "crime sucks" "one man swat team" just fantastic 

This is another amazing one that deserves a comment. For "cowboy Harry" just fantastic . the artwork is amazing too. Always loved his colors and how he used them.

I'm often jealous of what amazing pieces that you and other long term collectors have. With art, as you told me is very different from comics. But above all else, this is what I'm most jealous of. The personal artwork Joe did for you, and you only. It's just so special. (That reminds me, maybe I should post the 2 sketch's did for me personally) but having these commandos, bullseye, vagabond prince done specially for you is better than any published orignal art, in my opinion. 

I remember we discussed this. Such a great piece of art even tho I don't collect silver age marvel. If I did, it would be this stuff. They produced some great art. Congrats on owning this.

Harry, as you know I am not a collector of new artwork. But I have to admit, I do quite like the newer artwork you collect. Particularly this splash and the cap artwork. Thank you for introducing me to this site as well

I know exactly what you mean. I used to do the same thing, except when I was 8 I pretty much only knew Cap, Bucky, Joe and speedboy. I find myself gazing into it at random times just appreciating the detail. Now I hope to find the other half, the extended version of this piece with all the other characters. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I want to get that, frame it exactly the same, and hang them right next to each other just like Joe did 

Yes it really is. I use to stare at this piece and a few others on his living room wall when I was 5-8 years old. I am glad I can do that once again. Sometimes I just catch myself staring at the details of it like I did so many years ago. I'm very fortunate that I was able to be reunited with it. Hopefully I will be able to do that now with other pieces
