It reminded me of a girl I dated back when I was 20 years old. And I always thought she looked like George Perez' Donna Troy, so this one kind of had a nostalgic appeal for me.

I've been loving his work on this series so far. His covers are great too.

For this one he asked me if a background would look good and I showed him an older Mike Mayhew cover that I thought the pose reminded me of, so in a way, it's a bit of an homage to Mayhew. It turned out really well.

Seems like this one flew under the radar for so long, always kinda being in the shadow of the iconic issue 72 cover. It's from a great crossover with the Wonder Woman/Deathstroke special. I recently gave my copy to my friend, who's collecting the Bolland covers.
