Congrats on being able to bring home such a fantastic piece!  A lot of Campbell pieces place all of the emphasis on the figure itself, but here Medusa's hair brings the whole page alive with movement and detail!

You know, when he found out I liked this page, Jeff Moy made the EXACT same observation about it featuring Brainy haunches.  No idea WHAT you people are insinuating.

And you're right about Jeff really pouring the volume into everyone's hair!  It's one of my favourite parts of his artstyle, and he's mentioned that he took inspiration from the voluminous hair Adam Hughes would give his characters.

A lovely Dawnstar piece!  You can really see how well Grell - her creator - loves and understands drawing the character.

Some classic Moy goodness!  It's a great "Shy Vi" page, and you even get Spark sticking out her tongue!

(Also, note the nod to the true identity of Spark's secret admirer, with Cham in the forefront of the panel where he's mentioned!)

The bows!  The lace!  The cherry bombs!  Love how Blevins took the Rockabilly aesthetic and came up with the perfect design for Tabitha.

The rare and fabled roll call/DPS!  What a fantastic pickup!  And just look at all of the detail Jeff poured into this page.  I would always wonder which Legionnaire had written the message in the dust on the table (my money is on Spark herself, I think).

You've also got to love how Jeff put a nod to the story's conflict in the roll call itself, with Spark clearly not happy with Saturn Girl or Cosmic Boy.

Just gorgeous!  The way Massafera did the lighting in this piece is especially lovely.

It was just incredible, how quickly and easily he drew this!  It's definitely something special to watch an artist at work, in their element.

I do regret that I was in no position to get con sketches back in the '90s, when prices were lower because flipping wasn't as prevalent.  Happily for everyone involved, this piece only went up on eBay a year or two ago, so there was no flippery involved, here!
