Congrats on adding another great Matteo piece to your collection!  I didn't like this page at first because of the upward camera angle, but over time, I appreciate that it really is a difficult angle to pull off, and he really shows her strength and calmness in this scene before the rest of the story begins.

Another Maleev killer.  Although Logan has never been a poster child for fantastic control, Alex sure shows -he- is here; amazing musculature, hair, and lighting, and the grey of the backgrounds is as gorgeous as the bloody claws are terrifying.  Stunning portrait of Logan - congrats, Paul!

FANTASTIC Maleev, Paul (and a terrific write up)!  You perfectly sum up Alex's approach to his "layers" of color, and how that deceptively (cough) "simple" approach yields such striking and genuinely brain-melting results.  Watercolors have never been more indelible.  Beautiful piece, with that splash of blue adding crazy depth and (oddly!) a bit of... hope? :)  Terrific figure work - awesome pick up, Paul!

The control of the dry brush raking the shadows onto DD's face and across the back is very cool!  When he worked digitally on Daredevil, he would often have this kind of look of desperation ready to swing for the fences.

This cover is truly spectacular! I fell in love with it when Matteo posted it on social media. You get most of the bat family and villains all in one by one of the modern masters. Huge congratulations!

This is REALLY nice Paul! Congrats.

Real gamble where Maleev lets the dice roll to have the watercolor dry and bleed.  Maybe hastened to dry with a heat gun to bake in the effect.  The texture created by the background thinned out ink wash is so natural because of this.

love it! I like the expressiveness in the strokes in teh face vs the more simple shapes of the clothing.

Fantastic cover, Paul, dripping with action and detail and inked to perfection (as usual) by Wade!  Brilliant reference to the Invaders cover, too.  Stuart's art in this Cap run was absolutely sensational, and you have a terrific example of that here.  Mega-congrats!  Great pick up!
