Yes, you are correct. Johnny Bruck painted over the original piece to adapt it for secondary use. You can also see changes he introduced for different printed editions, for example the Perry Rhodan series has 5 printed editions and for the 3rd and 5th editions the covers were often changed a bit. For the 5th edition there are also many extensions which were necessary due to a format change.

This is absolutely correct. Johnny Bruck was clearly influenced by John Schoenherr's great work. Also the cover of PERRY RHODAN Planet Novel #2 from 1964 is clearly 'inspired' by Schoenherr.

This is a Kelsner masterpiece at the height of his late creative phase. There won't be many more of these given his age. I know he is trying to sell some pieces given the ongoing renovation work in his house in Germany.

Yes, you are right. Interestingly, this piece is full of symbols and stories. For example, the women on the left clearly resembles Johnny's wife Bonnie Bruck. And the the Scot is his friend Lord Euan Robert Mac Pherson of Clentrium, Head of the Mac Pherson Clan. There is a nice oil painting of him from Bruck as well.

I think I have pieces with all his known pseudonyms in my collection including Bruck, Willis, JO, Crash, Shot, Plasterer and Pflasterer. As you rightfully point out, Crash, Plasterer and Pflasterer are related to various accidents.

This is a wonderful piece from Johnny Bruck from his later period. It was published July 20, 1995. Johnny died October 6, 1995 and this is one of his last signed artworks. I love this piece, it is just fantastic!
